Joe Jonas, one third of the musical sensation known as The Jonas Brothers, will appear on the mega-hit sitcom "Hot in Cleveland." Jonas will appear as Melanie's son, Will in an upcoming episode of the show. Valerie Bertinelli stars on the show as Melanie along with Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick and Betty White. In the episode, Will Moretti (Jonas) comes to Cleveland to visit his recently transplanted mother, Melanie (Bertinelli). Jonas will appear in the August 11 episode that was taped in front of a live studio audience.
"Hot in Cleveland" which airs at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Wednesdays has garnered great critical acclaim and record-breaking ratings. White's recent hot streak from her appearances in "The Proposal" and as a host of "Saturday Night Life" has helped the show be picked for a second season of 20 episodes. The second season will begin production in October 2010 and is expected to premiere in January 2011 on TV Land.
"Hot in Cleveland" revolves around three fabulous best friends from LA - novelist Melanie Moretti (Valerie Bertinelli), eye-brow archer to the stars Joy Scroggs (Jane Leeves) and former soap star Victoria Chase (Wendie Malick) - who find their lives changed forever when their plane, headed for Paris, makes an unexpected landing. When the friends discover that they are hot in Cleveland, they decide to stay. Starting over, they rent a house that happens to come with a very feisty caretaker (Betty White).
